Better wait than never.

Key verse: Habakkuk 2:3
“If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently for it will not be delayed”
Devotional:
We usually use waiting as the last resort after all other efforts have failed
us. If it ever ‘seems slow in coming’ we bend God’s will turning in any
direction as a ditch effort to manipulate His will. To wait is one thing. To wait
patiently when good things seem slow in coming is another level of testing.
It feels like an eternity. Thank God for the hope for what's to come of which
assures us that waiting with a good attitude is best when welcoming the
good that will ‘surely’ take place. To remind us further that it’s God’s clock
we are led by and His perfect timing is not compatible with how we see this
kind of timing to be.
It will surely come without delay if we wait patiently especially when it
seems slow in coming, remembering that things that ‘seem’ a certain way
are usually, if not always a shadow or illusion of what is to come.
In any case, to conclude,
‘The only thing worse than waiting on the Lord is wishing that you had’ _
